Number 4

I figured I might put a blog post (you know at least one) about this pregnancy (#4).

Poor baby girl.  You are loved.  There is just so much going on in life that blogging seems at the bottom of the list when it comes to things to do.  Such as this morning, we've picked up your sisters rooms, did some laundry, picked up a few other random areas of the house, and now I'm plum worn out.  So I'm taking a break and I figure that is ok.  I don't get as much done as I hope to these days.  Bathrooms should be cleaned, floors mopped, but it just has to wait.  If I accomplish one thing during the day then I'm satisfied, and sometimes it's not even one thing.  Your sisters are playing with their baby dolls this morning and I can't wait to think of what life will be like when they have a real life baby doll, you, to draw all their attention.

I have 10 more weeks until my due date and I expect to carry you all 10.  I've never been one for having babies early, but I guess you never do know.  You keep both your daddy and I up at night with your constant kicks and movement.  There seems to be a cloud of tiredness that hangs over us, but life goes on, and so I put a bit of makeup under my sleepy eyes (or sometimes not) and we go on with our day.

No, we don't have a name picked out for you yet, but I'm sure the perfect one will be figured out just in time.  We always tease your sisters we are going to name you Bendi-zundi, and whenever they ask if we've come up with a name yet we tease them by saying it, which drives them crazy!

You've put a lot of stress on momma's back this time around.  So I have to take it a bit more easy than I like to.  I have daddy carry the laundry up & down the stairs, and try not to pick up your sisters unless I have to.  Your Dad laughed when he found out I cooked dinner sitting down in a chair last week.  It just hurt too much to stand.  I got some relief by getting a massage recently and am very grateful for that.

We can't wait for you to be part of our family.  Your sisters wonder all the time what you will look like.  They want to see you NOW!  Know you will be part of a family where you are LOVED, maybe even more than you want to be at times.

I guess that's all for now cause it's time for lunch and again life must go on!  See you soon sweet baby girl!

Love,
Momma

Flashback/flash forward

This little boy turned 34 yesterday!  How I love him!  He probably never imagined having 5 girls in his life, but the love he shows all of us is quite amazing!  I love how I can see him in different ways in each of our girls.  I love how he can be such a dork at times, like recently when we had a night away at a hotel as a family and he was chasing me around the swimming until I would finally get my head wet.  How he makes me laugh everyday and how he continues to tell me the reason I married him is because he is funny.  He serves his family with an unconditional love, even the little things like going grocery shopping for me with two of the kids in tow (maybe that's more of a big thing).  Anyway, I think he's one cool guy!  We'll be married 10 years this coming year and I feel so blessed, so very blessed, to have this man in my life.
